I am 42. I have been working without interruption for 22 years. I had worked for the western organizations until 2008 : American Lawyers’ Association, US Legal Department, European Court of Human Rights, Euro Council. In 2009 I founded a media holding Tabula with help of my friends and likeminded people. My background is International Relationships, but to be honest I do not fully understand what does that mean. I have a husband and we have three children.

The Peace Cathedral is the place where I am accepted the way I am and nobody judges me.

This place for me is about freedom. It is so easy to be honest and to think and talk about your mistakes in the place like that. That is the secret of charm of the Peace Cathedral.

I was brought up in the area where the Peace Cathedral is, on Tsereteli Avenue. I had Baptist neighbors and as I child I remember the myths and legends about your faith. I was told, that you are different than the rest of us, that you had weird rituals, and that you were dangerous people.  Fortunately my mentality was not infected with these information thanks to my family.

When I am visiting you the first feeling I have is freedom and another – is feeling of dignity. I feel like I am overcoming the fears we get in our childhood, and not only then. Even today we are taught that those who are different are dangerous. And the thing is that they are not even different.

I wish the Peace Cathedral to have the same atmosphere of freedom for the people who come to the church. And I wish the Peace Cathedral and myself to live and work in the country where people of different religion, sexual orientation, ethnic background and abilities are equals before the law.

The main wisdom of my life is: If you are going through hell, keep going… and also, the problem of socialism is other people’s money are easily spent. None of these wisdoms are discovered by me.  The first belongs to W. Churchill and another _ to M. Tetchier, but they are universal wisdoms.

ვარ 42 წლის. ვმუშაობ უწყვეტად  –  22 წელია. 2009 წლამდე დასავლურ ორგანიზაციებში ვიმუშავე – ამერიკის იურისტთა ასოციაცია, ამერიკის იუსტიციის დეპარტამენტი, ადამიანის უფლებათა ევროპული სასამართლო, ევროპის საბჭო. 2009 წლის ბოლოს თანამოაზრეებთან ერთად დავაფუძნე ტაბულა. განათლებით საერთაშორისო ურთიერთობების სპეციალისტი ვარ, თუმცა ბოლომდე არ მესმის ეს რას ნიშნავს. მყავს ქმარი. ორივეს ერთად გვყავს 3 შვილი.

მშვიდობის კათედრალი არის ადგილი, სადაც ისეთს მიღებენ, როგორიც ვარ და არ მკიცხავენ.

ეს ადგილი ჩემთვის თავისუფლებას უკავშირდება. ასეთ გარემოში იოლია გულწრფელობა, საკუთარ შეცდომებზე ფიქრი და ლაპარაკი. ესაა მშვიდობის კათედრალის მიმზიდველობის საიდუმლო.

მე გავიზარდე მშვიდობის კათედრალთან ახლოს, წერეთლის გამზირზე. ეზოში, სადაც ბაპტისტებიც ცხოვრობდნენ და კარგად მახსოვს ის მითები და ლეგენდები, რასაც მაშინ თქვენს რწმენასთან დაკავშირებით ვისმენდი – თითქოს თქვენ ჩვენგან განსხვავებულები ხართ, უცნაური რიტუალები გაქვთ, ერთი სიტყვით, საშიშები ხართ. საბედნიეროდ, ჩემი გონება ჩემმა ოჯახმა დაიცვა. სწორედ ამიტომ, როდესაც თქვენთან მოვდივარ, თავისუფლების განცდის გარდა, ღირსების განცდაც მეუფლება  – თითქოს იმ შიშებს ვპასუხობ, რასაც ბავშობაში გვინერგავდნენ და დღესაც გვინერგავენ განსხვავებულის მიმართ, რომელიც რეალურად განსხვავებულიც არ არის.

მშვიდობის კათედრალს ვუსურვებ სტუმრისთვის შეენარჩუნებინოს თავისუფლების ის განცდა, რაც დღეს აქვს. მშვიდობის კათედრალს და საკუთარ თავს ვუსურვებ ისეთ ქვეყანას, სადაც ნებისმიერი სქესის, რწმენის, სექსუალური ორიენტაციის, ეთნიკური წარმოშობის და შესაძლებლობების ადამიანი იქნება კანონის წინაშე თანასწორი.

თუ ჯოჯოხეთს გადიხარ, სწრაფად უნდა გაიარო და ასევე სოციალიზმის პრობლემა რომ ისაა, რომ სხვისი ფული მალე თავდება. არცერთი გაკვეთილი მე არ მეკუთვნის. ერთი ჩერჩილის გამონათქვამია, მეორე – თეტჩერის. მაგრამ უნივერსალურია და ახლა ეგ ორი გამახსენდა.
